My great American Library Tour began in April 2016. Although I have been visiting American libraries with my parents (a teacher and an engineer) since I was a baby, I decided I wanted to document some of my favorite spaces and share why each library is so fun to visit. Please join me on my tour! ~DylanJack

Los Angeles Central Library
This is my favorite part of Los Angeles Central Library. There are three chandeliers in the atrium.
They are made of fiberglass and aluminum. The ceiling is superhigh, but I am not afraid of heights!
Here is the section of the library devoted to international languages and literature. There are cool murals on the wall and this half statue called a "bust" of Khalil Gibran, a Lebanese poet.
The Children's Literature Department is MASSIVE. It is home to 250,000 books including fairy tales, poetry, picture books, a theater and a computer center featuring Kids' Path to help with homework.
